First Day of Semester 2! Click here for important information for all students and parents

Important Information for Monday, February 3

All Students

  • All students will attend Advisory in block.  This time will be to ensure students have their timetables for term 2 (check Powerschool Semester 2) and grade 9s know their option class
  • please see attached bell shedule for class times
  • All parents should have received an email about new and changed sections of classes--please check on the home page for the information.  If you did not receive an email, please contact the school
  • Students should be able to see their term 2 classes in Powerschool.  Complete a Course Change Request form if you would like to make a change.  Deadline for term 2 timetable changes is February 13th.  Please access the Master Timetable to check when courses are scheduled
  • Please return any outstanding textbooks to the Learning Commons first thing Monday morning so they can be processed and ready for term 2 students to sign out 
  • Report Cards will be handed out next week
  • Feb 6 and 7 is Teacher's Convention--no school for students

Parents & Students

  • Please use the south (student) parking loop to drop off students
  • Cst. Gillman will be present on 43 st. in the morning as a reminder to please not stop in front of the school to drop off students
  • Please do not drop off students in the staff/visitor parking lot

Grade 9 Students

  • LA, Math and PE class times are different than semester 1.  Please check the Master Timetable for changes.  Note the classroom teachers have not been updated on this link.  See the new stafffing announcement for teacher changes
  • Students can check their option class on Powerschool and with their Advisory teacher in block 1.  Note changes can be requested but most sections are full.  Requests to go into Cosmetology 9 would be available but not likely for other options

Grade 12 Students

  • There will be a session in Monday's Advisory on how to get signed up in My Pass so you can view your diploma marks when they come out in mid February so make sure you attend Advisory on Monday
  • Commencement fees have just been attached to grade 12 students.  In order to be eligible to be on the February grad lists, students must be enrolled in the courses they need for their diploma and have their Commencement fee paid
  • Grad photos are taking place next week--please see the Grad Facebook page for information on how to schedule an appointment
